Our first time eating at Golden Oak. It was soooo yummy! The portions are huge. If you saw what I brought home, you would think I didn't eat any of it! Highly recommend!
The service is excellent! Pancakes were light and fluffy and hot! Syrup was served warm, nice touch! All the food was hot and fresh, eggs perfectly cooked. My partner had to leave the table for an important call, and our server took his food back to keep warm until he returned. Very thoughtful of her. Also, their coffee is excellent. Another thing I noticed is the salt and pepper shakers were very clean and shiny, and bathroom was immaculate as well. We will definitely be going back again!
This was my very first time eating here. I just had a very delicious omelette and hash browns at Golden Oak Pancake House. They were served with pancakes which were light and fluffy; the coffee was very smooth and very good. Our waitress, Donna, anticipated our every need, kind, and professional. We will be back.
My daughter and I stumbled upon this place Saturday. Great place and Great Service. The food was good except they need to cook their bacon and sausage a little longer.
Great selection of food on the menu. Always hard to decide what to choose to eat. Fantastic omelets and skillets! Service is awesome! Will definitely be going back. Reasonable prices!
Goodness!! Come hungry or bring a buddy to share the food. My first time here and I can say, I will be back!! Side of fresh fruit, was actually fresh and delicious!! My server was Darren. He was friendly and quick! I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup!!
The staff here are always friendly, and the food is always well made. I ordered blueberry pancakes and where most other places just dump a handful, whomever made my pancakes lovingly placed each blueberry and made it where I had one in each bite. The burritos here are also so good, even if you get it to go and toss it in the air fryer the next day. They are giant burritos, stuffed skillfully so you get everything in each bite. I'm still working my way around the menu, but you can't go wrong with what you pick here.
First time at this Golden Oakes, well worth the drive in from Illinois. We had breakfast which had a variety of things to choose from as well as the lunch menu. You couldn't ask for better service, food or prices. Staff is very friendly!!
We happened to see this place over two months ago and went in to try. We have come back almost weekly. Great food! Biscuits and gravy are the best and coffee is delicious. People are very friendly and the service is excellent. Highly recommend!!!
The food was plentiful and delicious. Our server, Anna was delightful. The restaurant area was very clean and well lit, but the restrooms needed attention.
